Your company is obliged to submit a Declaration of Completeness if its packaging quantities put in 2023 on the German market reached the below volumes thresholds:

  • ≥ 80 tons Glass and/or
  • ≥ 50 tons Paper and/or
  • ≥ 30 tons Light Weight Packaging (ferrous metals + Aluminium + Plastics + Beverage carton + other composites)

The Declaration of Completeness must be audited and confirmed by a registered expert, or by a registered auditor, tax adviser or sworn accountant.

We recommend you to act quickly as the Authorities might apply a fine up to 100,000 € in case of non-submission of the Declaration of Completeness.

Deadline for the submission in LUCID: no later than 15 May 2024
