Our colleagues Sarah Pfeiffer and Martin Hillenbrand were able to pass on their expertise on the German Packaging Act and the legal basis for taking back old battery and electrical appliances to interested members of the Trusted Shops rating platform at a webinar on the subject of “Compliance in e-commerce”. During the 45-minute webinar, the environmental obligations for online retailers were presented and explained in simplified form. Afterwards there was the opportunity to clarify open questions from practice directly with the experts.
Trusted Shops offers trust-promoting services such as quality seals and procedures for buyer protection. 25,000 online retailers use the offer of the platform, which also informs its members regularly about legal obligations. We thank Trusted Shops for the successful cooperation and look forward to further cooperation in the future!
