We make it simple
Since May 2006, one-way bottles and cans have been collected by retailers against a deposit of 25 cents, no matter where the drinks were originally sold. For consumers, this is a considerable simplification of the deposit scheme.
However, this does increase the work for all manufacturers or retailers of one-way drinks packaging such as supermarkets or petrol stations. According to the Packaging Ordinance (Verpakungsverordnung – VerpakV), every retailer of drinks cans or one-way bottles must accept any packaging subject to the deposit, regardless of whether he stocks that product or not.
As an authorised third party within the deposit system, Landbell offers individual solutions or a complete service for the uncomplicated fulfilment of all the legal requirements. We can either organise the collection, recycling and recovery of the one-way drinks packaging as well as the reconciliation of deposit payments or help companies with their compliance. This ensures that the regulations are easily fulfilled for both manufacturers and retailers.
